MAY-BEETLES AROUND THE WORLD

Fairy-tale written for children, with original water-coloured plates, made by the painter and illustrator.
The coloured book has a big format.

The story describes the fantastic adventures of the may-beetles, little insects, wingless and dark in the beginning. They were rejected by everyone and then, during a shining summer, started looking for food in the meadows of a surreal country. Mother Nature, in the guise of a kind lady, blesses their “plunge” into the pulp of the ripe fruits, that will endow the may-beetles forever with their rd-brownish colour which still nowadays distinguishes them. With his lively and metaphoric illustrations, Pecorari turn us all again into children and enables us to appreciate fully the true simplicity of Nature
